Jerry Wayne Sanders

Jerry Wayne Sanders, 73, of King's Mountain, NC, passed away on Friday November 18, 2022 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC. A native of Chester, SC, he was the son of the late Odell Sanders and Dorothy Lee Worthy Suber.

He was a graduate of Carver High School in Spartanburg, SC and attended Rutledge College. He served in the United States Army and retired from Michelin Tire Company after more than twenty-five years of dedicated service.

Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by one grandson, Rodreik Sanders, one great-granddaughter, two brothers, Harold Worthy and Odell Sanders, Jr., and one sister, Sybil Sanders.

Those left to cherish fond memories include one son, Carlos Sanders of the home; one daughter, Jeri (Willie) Wilson of Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, all of whom will sorely miss him.
