Jerry Karl O'Veal

Jerry Karl O'Veal, 76, of Union, SC passed away Tuesday morning, June 28, 2022 in Spartanburg Medical Center.  He was born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana on April 30, 1946 to the late Kittridge and Ruth Johnson O'Veal.  

Jerry is one of the eleven children born to Kittridge and Ruth O'Veal. His family moved to Houston Texas in 1952. Jerry left Houston, TX, and moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1980. He obtained odd jobs and joined the Chosen Few Motorcycle Club. He had a love of God Wing motorcycles and often talked of his travels over the United States. He was a member until 2009, but kept up with his fellow members till his time of demise.

Jerry joined Loved Lifted Me, Ministries in 2009, and became a deacon in 2014. He was a faithful member and Loved the Lord. Jerry met his wife Bonnie at the church and was married there.

In 2018, Jerry and Bonnie moved to South Carolina and settled in Union, South Carolina. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, four brothers, and four sisters. 

He leaves to cherish many memories, his wife Bonnie; a host of children; one brother, Warren; one sister, Marian, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other family members and friends. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
