Janice Alfreda Herndon

Janice Alfreda Herndon, 68, of 63 Blackstock Road, Inman, SC and formerly of 251 Dogwood Club Road, Spartanburg, SC passed away February 26, 2020 at Magnolia Manor Inman.  Ms. Herndon was the daughter of the Late Almanis Herndon Jr. and The Late Essie Mae Stroble Herndon.  She was of the Baptist faith.  She retired as a Respiratory Therapist from the Spartanburg Medical Center after faithfully working for 30 years.  Ms. Herndon was a graduate of Carver High School and Spartanburg Technical College where she received her Respiratory Therapist degree.  She leaves to cherish her fond memories to two sons, Demetrius and loving daughter in law  Eddie Mae Walker of Spartanburg, SC and Lemuel (Carmen)Walker of Ocala, FL; four daughters, Cheilon (Tony) Whitesides of Ohio, Terri Williams, Cynthia Graham and Stephanie Walker all of Ocala, FL; one brother, Almanis Herndon III of North Carolina; one sister, Aileen Herndon Edugyan of Spartanburg, SC; two grandchildren, Cheilontae Herndon of Spartanburg, SC and Rashard Wright of Duncan, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.  The family is meeting and receiving friends at the home 251 Dogwood Club Road Spartanburg, SC.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
