James Louis Webster, 72, peacefully passed away on Friday January 13, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. A native of Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of Mary Carrie Wells (Floyd) Dawkins and the late James Moore.
James was retired from Country Fresh, Inc. as a truck driver. He was a graduate of Foster Grove High School.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Webster and Bobby Webster. He leaves precious memories to one son, Marcus Webster; one daughter, Stefani Webster (Jonathan Davis); one stepdaughter, Natasha Simpson; two grandchildren, Jamarius Coleman and Aniya Olliverre; three step-granddaughters; three brothers, Kenneth (Evanda) Webster, William (Carol) Wells, and Larry (Kate) Dawkins; two sisters, Patricia (Samuel) Penson and Pamela (Eric) Wells; former spouse, Minister Pamela Simpson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, other relatives and friends, all of whom will sorely miss him.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
