James Lee Sarratt

James Lee Sarratt, 79, of Spartanburg, SC passed away on December 1, 2020 in Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.  A native of Gaffney, SC he was the son of the late Darvin Sarratt and Annie Eliza Studyvance Sarratt.  He was a member of White Plains Baptist Church in Gaffney, SC.  He was a graduate of Granard High School and a worked as a truck driver for Overnight Freight Lines.  He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and one sister.  Mr. Sarratt leaves his fond and loving memories to three sons, James Lee (Keica) Sarratt of Spartanburg, SC, Roy Studyvance of Gaffney, SC, and Ron Christopher Sarratt of Spartanburg, SC; five daughters, Sharon Boyd of Gastonia, NC, Phyllis McDowell, Sandra Studyvance, Theresa Sarratt, and Tina (Robert) Sarratt all of Spartanburg, SC; one brother, Roosevelt Sarratt of Gaffney, SC; one sister, Annie P. Jones of Providence, RI; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
