James Edward Brannon

Mr. James Edward Brannon of Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday morning October 27, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the husband of Lucille Martin Brannon and the son of the late Ben Lewis Brannon and Jeanette Lindsey Brannon. He earned his living and retired as a Head Chef. He was preceded in death by fourteen siblings. He leaves precious memories to his loving wife, Lucille Brannon of the home;  two daughters, Angelina Brannon (Willie) and Katherine Embry (Carlos) both of Bartow, Fl.; one stepson, Wilshawn Martin, Spartanburg, SC; three stepdaughters, Latisha Talley (Tim), Spartanburg, SC, Mekeya Davis, Boiling Springs, SC, Tichina Davis, Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren, Aundre, Rashaad, Mercedes, Jeffrey, Danielle, and Kavari; ten step-grandchildren, one step-great grandchild (his little buddy); two brothers, Robert Lee Brannon and Horace Brannon (Mary) both of Spartanburg, SC; two sisters, Virginia McLain and Christine Rookard, both of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives who will miss him dearly. No formal services will be held at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Community Mortuary Inc. 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg.
