James Nathan "Baldy" Harris, Sr.

 James Nathan “Baldy” Harris, Sr., 77, of Detroit, MI, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022, in Ascension Providence Hospital – Novi, MI Campus. A native of Union County, SC, he was the son of the late Willie James Harris and Alice Faye Harris.

He was a 1964 graduate of Sims High School and was retired from the plumbing industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two children, James N. Harris, Jr. and Sharon Laverne Harris.

He is survived by three daughters, Dominique Hartford, Christine Hartford,  and Felisha Hartford and one stepdaughter, Ashley Hartford and their mother, Maria Hartford; two stepsons, Rodney Harris and Jonathan (Angela) Harris; his grandchildren; three brothers, Johnnie C. (Mamie) Harris, William Edward (Alean) Harris, and Terry Lee Harris (Joyce); four sisters, Georgia Mae Smith (Tony), Christine Salter, Dianne H. (George) Tyner, and Beverly (Jimmy) Sims; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
