Jacky "Ricky" Rice

Jacky "Ricky" Rice, 61, of 408 Abner Road, Apt D-5, Spartanburg, SC passed away Thursday morning, January 23, 2020 in Spartanburg Medical Center.  A native of Union County, SC, He was the son of the late Arthur Rice, Sr. and Daisy Bell Rice.  He was married to the late Gwendolyn Gist Rice.  He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Jarvis Rice and Jachelle Rice.  Je also leaves three grandchildren, Alysha Rice, Julius Rice and Jaleah Rice.  He was preceded in death by Booker T. Rice, Barbara Jean Savage, Samuel Kaye Rice and Foster Rice.  Survivors in addition to his children and grandchildren  include, four sisters, Shirley Mae (Nathaniel) Nash of Union, SC, Bernice Glenn of Jonesville, SC, Betty Rice of Union, SC and Daisy (Christopher) Stewart of Union, SC; four brothers, Bobby (Ruby) Peake, Clyde (Mary) Rice, Arthur (the late Dollie Rice) Rice, Jr. and Jocephus (Jackie) Floyd all of Jonesville, SC; one brother-in-law, Eric Savage of Carlisle, SC; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Arrangements are with Community Morturay, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
