Ja O'Marion Ruth

The funeral ceremony can be viewed via Facebook Live at: Community Mortuary, Inc. at 2:50 pm on Sunday.

All persons attending the funeral service are asked to enter from the gymnasium lobby area and be seated at 2:40 p.m.  Program participants, floral bearers, and pallbearers are asked to be seated in your reserved seating by 2:40 p.m.  A mask or some form of face covering is required of ALL attendees.

Ja O’Marion Ruth "Baby 3"

Ja O’Marion Ruth was born September 17, 2002. He was a native of Union, SC, and was the son of Ed Ruben Ruth, Jr. and Vickie Glenn Johnson. 

He was a 2021 graduate of Union High School.  He entered eternal rest on Monday, July 26, 2021. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ed Ruth, Sr. and maternal grandfather, Johnny Glenn.

He leaves a legacy of love to his mother, Vickie Glenn (Roosevelt) Johnson; his father, Ed Ruth, Jr.; one brother, Victor O. Ruth; one sister, Khatori J. Ruth; his paternal grandmother, Florence Ann Cheek Ruth; his maternal grandmother, Mary L. Tucker Glenn; five aunts, Jovonnie Glenn, Sherry Ruth, Beverly Jennings, Sabrina Goode and Angela Gist; two uncles, Tavo Glenn and John Glenn, Jr.; one nephew, Zaiden O. Ruth;  and a host of cousins and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 1, 2021, at 3:00 pm in the Union County High School Gymnatorium. Interment will follow in McBeth Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at 235 Belvue Drive, Union, SC and at 214 McBeth Street Union, SC.  

Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
