Hattie Lee "Killa" Sampson

Hattie Lee Sampson, daughter of the late Maybel Sampson Lawyer was born on Saturday, December 22, 1956, in Spartanburg County, SC. She departed this earthly life on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Inman Healthcare in Inman, SC. She graduated from the public schools of Spartanburg County and was a well-known personality in the Spartanburg community. Over the years, she established and maintained a number of long-life friendships.

Hattie was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Charles Earl Sampson, Sr., James Sampson, Rudolph Sampson, Dickie Smith, and Patsy McClellan.

Hattie leaves endearing memories to her one and only son, Marlon Sampson; five grandchildren; three brothers, Evans “Butch” (Nancy) Sampson, Lewis Sampson, LeRoy Lawter; two sisters, Pansy (Leonard) Williams, and Gloria Lawter; and a host of nieces and nephews.
