Harry Lee Gore, Sr.

Harry Lee Gore, Sr., 56, of 102 Columbus Street, Union, SC passed away Tuesday morning, February 25, 2020 at his residence.  A native of Chester County, SC, he was the husband of Ruby Johnson Gore and the son of the late Brawley Gore and Ernestine Smith Gore.  He was a member of Mount Hopewell Baptist Church.  He was a 1983 graduate of Lockhart High School and was a former employee of Dollar General Distribution.  On August 8, 1986 he completed basic training with the Army National Guard.  Those who remain to cherish his memory, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Antonio (Dana) Johnson and Harry Lee (Shatoria) Gore, Jr. both of Union, SC; six grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Gore of Chester, SC and Torrence (April) Gore of Greer, SC; four sisters, Daisy Gore of Chester, SC, Laura Ann (David) McLuney of Lockart, SC, Lula Sanders of Chester, SC and Bernadine (Wayne) Cameron of Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  The family will receive friends at the home.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Raod, Union, SC.
