Harold Adelrice Meadows was born on July 22, 1977. He was the son of Sarah Meadows Suber (Wayne) and Harold J. Nash (Sonya). He departed this earthly life on May 14, 2026, at his residence. Harold was a graduate of Dorman High School. He earned his living working in the field of construction, manufacturing, and entrepreneurship. He earned his certification and training in the electrical program at Spartanburg Community College. Harold was a faithful member of Moore’s Chapel Baptist Church. He served his church family with dedication and a willing heart. Whether through his support, encouragement, or quiet acts of kindness, he consistently demonstrated the values of faith, service, and love for God’s people. His commitment to the church extended far beyond attendance, he was someone others could depend on during times of need, sorrow, and celebration alike.
Family was at the center of his life. He poured countless hours, energy, and resources into helping raise and nurture his nieces and nephews, becoming a father figure, mentor, protector, and source of inspiration to many of them. His love knew no distance, as he traveled abroad to remain actively involved in their lives, ensuring they felt supported, guided, and deeply loved. Through his wisdom, encouragement, and sacrifices, he played an instrumental role in shaping their growth and future.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Thomas Meadows (Emma Mae), and his paternal grandparents Oscar Nash (Mary), his uncles James Meadows, Carl Meadows, his Aunts Carolyn Fowler, Brenda McDowell, and a special cousin Christopher Fowler.
Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him, and the example he set will continue to inspire generations to come.
He leaves precious memories to his sisters Shawnda Spruill (Ricci), Sherrie Suber, Asha Nash Sojourner (Andre); his brother, Jarold Nash; special cousins Crystal Ward, Terrell Meadows, Kareem McDowell, Tina Nash; uncles, Thomas Meadows (Annie), Clarence Martin, Jesse Nash (Sandra); nephews, Zion Spruill, Richard “RJ” TInsley, Jacob Nash Tinsley; nieces Tatum Spruill, MaKenzie McMullen, and Haleigh K. Tinsely.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
