Hardin Lyles Jr. also known as “Crowe Lyles” to his friends and family passed away on November 3, 2023, at Union Medical Center. Hardin Lyles Jr. was born on September 8, 1950, to the late Hardin Lyles Sr. and the late Forestine Jeter Lyles.
Hardin attended Union County School. He graduated from Sims High School in 1968. He worked at Westpoint Stevens for 20 years and Union County School District for 10 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his old western tv shows and movies.
In addition to his parents, Hardin was predeceased by one brother, James Hill and a nephew, Nathaniel Jeter.
Those left to mourn his passing and cherish his memories are his devoted wife, Bobbie Jean Fuller Lyles; three daughters, Morestine Lyles of the home, Jestine (A. Garnard) Brewster, and Lorantine (LaChristen) Glenn of Roebuck, SC; a god-daughter, Jenell Jeter Bush; two sisters, Shirley Lyles Jeter of Carlisle, SC, and Myra Lyles of Pittsburg, PA, two brothers-in-law, Roy Fuller of Carlisle, SC and Robert (Mabel) Fuller of Union, SC; sister-in-law, Lillie Mae Fuller Williams of Union, SC; a special uncle, Jimmie Lee Jeter of Charlotte, NC; a special aunt, Ethel Mae Gaffney of Woonsocket, RI; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
