Franklin Dial White, Jr.

Franklin Dial White, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC was born November 29, 1940, to the late Franklin Dial White, Sr. and Maude Curry White. He departed this life on Monday, September 13, 2021.  He was the husband of Mary Ellen Miller White of fifty years.

Franklin attended Carver High School and was a retired brick mason.   He was a member of Cleveland Chapel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, James Curry, William White, Robert C. White, Bennie White and Marion White: and one sister, Margie Mosley.

Franklin leaves to cherish precious and fond memories to his wife, Mary E. White of the home; two daughters, Cynthia White and Veronica White (Brian) Lewis; three grandchildren, Tavoris (Trisha) Gist, Tieraney (Kendrick) Fernanders and Cameron R. Robinson; two great-grandchildren, Zoe Lynn Fernanders and Tatum Alden Gist; a godson, Rodrigues Bogan; one sister, Ida White Thompson; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

We will miss our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousins, and friend.  He was dear to us all.
