Frances Renee Cureton

Frances Renee Cureton, 51, of Union, SC passed away on Wednesday morning, December 14, 2022, in Spartanburg Medical Center. A native of Union County, SC, she was the daughter of the late James David “JD” Gist and Lois Johnson Littlejohn. She was a graduate of Union High School and a former employee of United Merchants Union Mill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alicia Garrett. 

She leaves precious memories to one son, Druquan Burkins; one daughter, Kentia Tucker; seven brothers, James Johnson, David Gist, Dwayne  Curenton, Terrance "Tree" Salter, William "Pip" Salter, Stanley "Jeet" Jeter, and Jonathan "Jon Jon" Morgan; and three sisters, Pamela Cureton, Quisha (Sherard) Williams, and Teresa "Punkin" (Roderick) Fuller; brother-in-law, Curtis Garrett; a niece who was like daughter, Diandra Garret; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
