Fannie Elizabeth Robinson Hardy, 75, of Spartanburg, SC died on Friday, September 23, 2022, at her residence. A native of Union County, SC, she was the widow of Charles Perrin Hardy and the daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt Robinson and Josephine Parham Robinson. She was a graduate of Sims High School and a former employee of Coleman Store. She is survived by three daughters, Judy Ann Hardy Rehman, Remona Kay (Vick) Bunch, and Sandra Lou Hardy all of Spartanburg, SC; two sons, Charles Perrin Hardy, Jr. of Knoxville, TN and Douglas Hardy (Stephanie Smith) of Detroit, MI; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Rev. Johnny Edward (Martha) Robinson of Passaic, NJ; one sister, Mearlean (Rev. George) Sims of Union, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; five brothers, George E. Robinson, Frances E. Robinson, Bobby J. Robinson, Willie Robinson, and Julius McBride; and three sisters, Hattie M. Tate, Ruby M. White, and Willie Mae Robinson. The family will receive friends at 127 Scruggs Avenue, Spartanburg, SC and 115 Scruggs Avenue, Spartanburg, SC. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Spartanburg, SC.
