Emanuel Hollis

Emanuel Hollis, 77, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the widower of the late June Delores Hollis and the son of the late Joseph William Hollis, Sr. and Elizabeth Benson Hollis. He attended Lincoln High School and earned his living as a skilled construction worker.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Deniece Hollis, one sister, Carolyn Elizabeth Hollis, and two brothers, Willie James Hollis and Joseph William Hollis, Jr.

Mr. Hollis leaves fond and precious memories to four sisters, Blanche Hollis (David) Boone, Virginia Hollis (Ezell) Kershaw, Annie Hollis (Scottie) Samuel, and Mary Hollis (Horace) Scruggs, all of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
