Eddie Gore

Eddie Gore, 89, of Buffalo, SC, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum, SC. A native of Union County, SC, he was the husband of the late Johnnie Willie Walker and son of the late Ben Gore and Dora Lee Wallace Gore. Mr. Gore was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church in Lukesville, SC. He was a High School graduate and served many years as a Machine Operator at Union Buffalo Mill.

Mr. Gore was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.

He leaves precious memories to three sons; Johnny Gore, Joseph Gore and Maurice Norman; one daughter, Juanita (Carl Smith) Gore; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; long-time companion Sarah Norman, and a host of other relatives and friends all whom will sorely miss him.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Rd., Union, SC.
