Eddie D. Dogan Jr. was born to Lillie Mae Stroble Dogan and Eddie Dean Dogan Sr., in Spartanburg, SC. He attended Spartanburg County School District 7, and he studied and received a certificate for his outstanding accomplishment in street law classes (Eddie Dean Dogan Jr. Attorney at law).
Deany Boy was very kind to everyone. He loved his sisters very dearly. He loved his three brothers-in-law who kept him encouraged in the Lord. He was a man after Gods own heart and a true warrior until the end of his life’s journey on this earth. He loved and cherished all his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest sister, Linda Gail Hillstock; his maternal grandparents, Catheleen, and Cliff Stroble; paternal grandparents, Crawford Lee Dogan and Loreena Pearson; and a host of heavenly uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Deany Boy leaves fond, loving, and cherished memories to his two sisters, Betty Jo (Thomas) Mayfield, Eddie Mae (Demetrius) Walker; one uncle, Charles Pearson; eight nieces and nephews; eighteen great nieces and nephews; seven great, great nieces and nephews; a host of cousins and friends. Deany Boy was friendly to everyone that he met and left us with lasting memories and love that we will forever hold close in our hearts.
