Douglas Harvey, 69, of 3740 Winburne Lane, Greensboro, NC passed away Thursday afternoon, February 13, 2020 in Moses H. Cone Hospital. A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Ernest Houston Logan and Ida Mae Philson. He was a graduate of Carver High School. He retired from the US Air Force in 1993 after twenty-eight years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest Houston Logan, Willie Wilson, Cornelius E. Logan, and Ronnie Young. He is survived by two sons, Douglas E. Lundy of OK and Douglas (Candace) Harvey, Jr. of Greensboro, NC; six daughters, Karen Long of OK, Jerrica Harvey of OK, Shaniqua Harvey of Greensboro, NC, Crystal Rone (Michael Spalding) of Jacksonville, FL, Talisha Rone of Greensboro, NC, and Anethia Monsonsanders (Jerry P. Sanders) of Tampa, FL; seventeen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his special friend of many years, Jenny Stewart of Greensboro, NC; four brothers, Ronald (Vickie) Logan, Harvey E. Logan, Sr. and Vincent U. (Darlene) Logan. Sr. all of Spartanburg, SC and Charles H. Logan, Sr. of Aiken, SC; three sisters, Diane (James) Styles of Reidville, SC, Ellen M. Logan and Belinda Lee Logan both of Wellford, SC and Carolyn Smith of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends at 1073 Main Street, Wellford, SC. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
