Douglas Wayne "Doug" Johnson

Douglas Wayne "Doug" Johnson, 67, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Magnolia Manor Skilled Nursing- Spartanburg. A native of Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late Charles E. Johnson, Sr., and Susie Mae Johnson. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. Upon his return home, he earned his living as a skilled brick mason.

He is preceded in death by one daughter, Jaques Monique Johnson.

Mr. Johnson fathered five sons, all of Spartanburg County, SC. In addition to his sons, he leaves to cherish fond and loving memories, one sister, Mrs. Charlene (Marlon) Mack of Spartanburg, SC; three brothers, Jerome (Carrie) Johnson, Charles E. Johnson, Jr., and John F. Johnson, all of Spartanburg, SC; along with a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
