Doshia (Kershaw) Talley

Doshia Kershaw Talley, 70, of Jonesville, SC passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, at her residence. A resident of Jonesville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Columbus Kershaw and Mable Smith Kershaw.  She was a former employee of Milliken and Company. She attended the public schools of Union County.  She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Kershaw; five brothers, Israel Kershaw, Leroy Kershaw, J.T. Kershaw, Norris Kershaw, and Alex Kershaw  and three sisters, Willie Lee Kershaw Smith, Floree Kershaw Wilkes, and Joella Kershaw “Booche” Hardy.  Survivors include two daughters, Yolanda Kershaw and Lekevia Kershaw; three grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; one brother, James (Marilyn) Kershaw; four sisters, Nan Rogers, Blanche Kershaw, Edna Kershaw, and Laurie (Rev. John) Henderson; brother-in-law, Roosevelt Hardy; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Kershaw; a nephew reared in the home, Clifford Kershaw; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.  The family will receive friends at the home.  Community Mortuary, Inc. 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC is in charge of arrangements.
