Doris (Spencer) Lowery

     Doris Spencer Lowery, 84,  went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 9, 2022. She was born May 13, 1938, in Union County, SC to the late Jim Eddie Spencer, Sr. and Evelyn Harris Spencer.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Prenell Spencer, Estelle Davis, Lillie Thomas, and Barbara Smith and two brothers, Jim Eddie Spencer, Jr. and Moses Spencer.
     Doris leaves to cherish loving memories her son, Lewis Humphries, Jr.; three daughters, Cindy D. Taylor,  Sharon D, Boyd (Furry), and Jacqueline Daniels; eight grandchildren, Boris Shipp, Lamont Roger, Theodore Daniels, Denzel Robinson, Shenickie T. Ervin (Derick), LaShunda Daniels, Chiquita Boyd, and Shadonna B. Blackwood (Demar), great- grands; two brothers, Eugene Spencer (Janice) and George Spencer (Pat); two sisters, Carolyn Kershaw and Linda Morman; and the host of nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
    Graveside services were held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery, Charlotte, NC.
