Dennis Wilson, Jr., affectionately known as “DJ,” entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the age of forty-five. Born on March 11, 1980, in Fort Riley, Kansas, Dennis was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He resided in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where his life was a testament to dedication, service, and love.
A proud graduate of Union High School, Class of 1998, Dennis went on to earn an associate’s degree in business management from the University of South Carolina - Union. He was the proud owner and operator of Infinite Hauling, a local trucking company he built through hard work and determination.
Dennis served his country with honor in the United States Army, where he was recognized for his dedication and courage before receiving an honorable discharge.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Niagha Samone Jennings Wilson; three cherished children, Mehki Wilson, Makeem Wilson, and Minubia Wilson; and his adored granddaughter, Nalia Wright. He also leaves behind his loving mother, Debra Delores Rutherford Wilson; brothers, David Wilson, and Josh Wilson; sister, Geneva Wilson; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss his vibrant spirit and warm presence.
The family will receive friends at their home, 118 Vermillian Drive, Spartanburg, SC.
Final arrangements are in the compassionate care of Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
