Decie Evelyn Graham

Decie Evelyn Graham, 73, of Lexington, SC, passed away on October 20, 2024, at her residence.  A native of Inman, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Graham, Sr., and Vinell Porter Graham.

Decie was a proud graduate of Bethune High School. She was a former employee of Lyman Printing and Finishing. She was a long-time member of Greater Saint James Temple Holiness Church in Inman, SC.  

During her high school years, Decie showcased her athleticism on the basketball court. She was known for her three-point shot before the shot was even known as such!

In addition to her parents, Decie was preceded in death by one brother, Claude “C.C.” Graham; and four sisters, Thelma Graham Canty, Mary Graham Nesbitt, Patricia Graham Mills, and Mary Iola Graham.

Left to cherish precious and fond memories are one daughter, Sonya Morris; two grandchildren, Jasmine (Ralphy) Martinez, and Tori L. Hawes; three great-grandchildren, Heavan Hawes, Haiden Hawes, and Kaiden Dendy; two brothers, Chuck Graham, and Eston (Dorothy) Graham; two sisters, Ruth Ann Brockett, and Priscilla (Mark) Petty; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
