David Thompson

David Thompson, 69, of Carlisle, SC passed away July 25, 2020 at his residence.  A native of Union County, SC, he was the son of the late Arenious Thompson and Eliza Lyles Thompson.  He was a graduate of Sims High School Class of 1969 and worked in the field of construction for many years.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda Denise Thompson,  two brothers, Rubin "Joe" Thompson and Charles Thompson, and one sister, Ellen Thompson Chambers.  Those who remain to cherish his memory include, three daughters, Catina (Albert) Whitener of Carlisle SC, Michelle Rash of North Carolina and Talisha Briggs Dade of Union, SC; one son, Carl Jeter of Santuc, SC; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five sisters, Mary Lou Sims of Carlisle, SC, Daisy Bellamy of Washington, DC, Cynthia Thompson of Carlisle, SC, Wilhelmenia Ronald "Ron") Muhammad of Chicago, IL and Iowinia Thompson of Carlisle, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at 1878 Santuc Drive, Carlisle, SC.. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
