David Crosby

David Crosby, 79, of 1216 South Pinckney Street, Union, SC passed away Sunday night, May 17, 2020 at his residence.  A native of Fairfield County, SC, he was the husband of Polly Gist Crosby and the son of the late Sam and Sally Feaster Crosby.  He was a member of The Hassion Hill Baptist Church of Blair, SC and was retired as a Foreman from the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT).  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Colie Crosby, Frank Crosby, Sam Crosby, John Crosby, Billy Crosby, A. W. Crosby Benny Lee Crosby, and James Crosby, Sr. and one sister, Drucilla Crosby. He leaves his fond memories with his wife of fifty-eight years, Polly Gist Crosby of the home; one son, James Henry (Kimberly) Crosby of Union, SC; three daughters, Henrietta (Donyal) Epps, Pauline Crosby, and Sabrina Crosby all of Union, SC; two brothers, Ervin Crosby of Santuc, SC and Dr. Tom (Deloris) Crosby of Irmo, SC; six grandchildren, grandchildren, Zederick, Crosby, Brennan Crosby, Delonta Crosby, Martez Crosby, Kennedy Crosby, and Kiera Crosby; one great grandson, Ayden Crosby; brother in-law, Mickey (Shirley) Gist; Sisters- in-law, Joann (Michael)Jones all of Union, SC and Molly Talley of Enroee, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.  The family is meeting at the home.   Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
