Dannie "Danny Boy" Foster

Dannie “Danny Boy” Foster was born in Cherokee County on August 4, 1957, to the late Daniel Foster and the late Rosa Shippy Richardson. He entered eternal rest on June 20, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Foster attended Pacolet High School, then dedicated service in the Army National Guard in 1980. He was an employee of Kraft Food for many years before becoming ill.

He is preceded in death by his father Daniel Foster; mother, Rosa Shippy Richardson; sister Sheila Rogers; brother Anthony Foster; and grandson De’Varius Rogers.

He leaves to cherish his wife, Betty Ann Foster; children, Alicia (Rodelle) Hall, Dannielle Foster, Dannie Foster Jr., Sharon Rogers, and Jeffrey (Neka) Hall; seven grandchildren, Quentavins Bishop, Kaylee Bishop, Kash Bishop, Jamarian Foster, Skylynn Foster, Jakailen Foster, and Brittany Rogers; one great grandchild, Skylar Foster; sisters, Jackyln Foster, Rita (Paul) Miller, and Darlene Brannon; special niece LeeAnne Foster and one other niece; eight nephews; nine uncles; twelve aunts and many cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 209 Hilltop View, Union, SC. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary Inc. Union, SC.
