Cynthia Anita Ballenger Holmes, 64, of Charlotte, NC died on Sunday afternoon, August 28, 2022 in Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. A native a of Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Conway Dewitt Ballenger and Frances Lynch Ballenger. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Inman, SC. She was a graduate of Chapman High School, Inman, SC and later certified as a nursing assistant. She was an employee of PNC Music Pavilion. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ronnie Ballenger and Dedric Ballenger; and two sisters, Jacqueline Lynch and Paulette Ballenger. She is survived by one son, Tavares (Robin) Ballenger; three grandchildren: three brothers, Willie Lynch, Tony Ballenger, and Larry James; one sister, Connie Ballenger Fields; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
