Cynthia Ann Hardy

Cynthia Ann Hardy, 56, of Union, SC, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. A native of Union County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ben Harry Worthy and Betty Rice Worthy Sims. She was the devoted wife of Stanley Howard Hardy and faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She attended Union County Schools and recently worked in Retail Sales.

Mrs. Hardy was preceded in death by three brothers; Christopher Worthy, Thomas Worthy, and Harry Worthy; and one sister, Cassandra Worthy.

In addition to her husband, she leaves precious memories to her two sons; Christopher Gist and Brandion Hardy; one daughter, Lakeisha Gist; one brother, Bernard Sims; two sisters, Pamela (Larry) Means and Belinda Worthy; four grandchildren, Brayion Hardy, Jahlil Hardy, Jaylan Salter, and Ja’Corian Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends all whom will sorely miss her. The family will receive friends at 687 Davis Jeter Road, Union, SC. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Rd., Union, SC.
