Clifford L. Sims, Jr.

Clifford Lee Sims, Jr. passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. He was the son of the late Clifford Sims, Sr. and Nancy Jackson Jones Sims McDowell. Clifford attended Fosters Grove High School and was employed with Milliken Textiles. 

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Furman Jones, John Sims and Roger Sims, one sister, Christine Elijah, one step brother, Harold McDowell; two step-sisters, Carolyn Montgomery and Rev. Barbara Phillips. 

He is survived by three sons, Gregory Sims and Clifford Lee Sims, III both of Inman, SC and James Anthony Morgan of  Fort Walton Beach, FL; two daughters, Annie Landrum of Detroit, MI and Lisa Reado of Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one brother, Oneal (Willene) Jones of Chesnee, SC; two sisters, Clara( Edgebert) Jones and Lena (Johnny) Bogan  all of Spartanburg, SC, four step-sisters, Doris Little, Annette Hughes, Rebecca Meadors and Vinetha McDowell; one sister-in- law, Mamie Jones of Chesnee, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, Inc. 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
