Clifford Hardy
Obituary
Clifford Hardy, 83, of 1510 Main Street, Buffalo, SC, passed away on April 29, 2022, at his residence. A native of Union County, SC, he was the husband of Allie Lee Granger Hardy and the son of the late Willie Douglas Hardy, Sr. and Frances Jeter Hardy.
He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Pauline, SC and was retired from United Merchants Buffalo Mill.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Jesse Hardy, Willie Hardy, Roosevelt Hardy, Sr., Ulysses Hardy, and Deloyd Hardy.
He leaves precious memories to his wife, Allie Lee Hardy of the home; four sons, James Wesley Hardy of Jonesville, SC, Leonard Hardy (Terrey) of Gaffney, SC, Richard Lewis Hardy (Theresa) of Valdosta, GA, and Clifford Eugene Hardy (April) of Charlotte, NC; one granddaughter reared in the home, Erica Jacobs; ten additional grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Smith (Robin) of Jonesville, SC; his in-laws; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 1432 Blackstock Road, Pauline, SC with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home.
Arrangements ate with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
