Charles Edward Wilkins

Charles Edward Wilkins, 55, of Columbia, SC passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 in Prisma Health Richland Hospital.  A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the husband of  Angela Stevens Wilkins of the home and  the son of Louise Wilkins of Spartanburg,  SC and the late Eugene Wells.   He worked at Griffin Gear Roebuck as a machine operator.  He graduated from the Spartanburg County School System.  He leaves his fond memories to his wife; his mother;  two sons, Maurqel Wilkins and Maurice Wilkins; ten grandchildren; five brothers, Robert Wilkins, Donald (Belinda) Wilkins, Melvin Wilkins, Kenneth (Mellisa) Wilkins, and Johnny Wilkins; two sisters, Dorothy Wilkins and Loletha Downing; one uncle, J.C. Wilkins; eleven nieces; thirteen nephews; twenty-two great-nieces; fourteen great-nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.  Viewing will be held for family and friends on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Community Mortuary.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Community Mortuary,  Pastor Antwand Copeland will officiate.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
