Charles Franklin Jones

Charles Franklin "Godfather" Jones, 68, of 147 George Street, Spartanburg, SC passed away Monday morning, April 6, 2020 at his residence.  A native of Inman, SC, he was the son of the late Ted Jones, Sr. and Julia Johnson Jones. He was a former employee of Bob's Car Wash and was of the Baptist faith.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Jones and Randy Jones; and two sisters, Louvenia Kelly and Bobbie Ruth Jones,  Those left to cherish his memory include four daughters, Dyisha Jones of Spartanburg, SC and Tyesha Jones Chisholm, Latrice Jones and Yolanda Jones all of Long Island, NY; three sons, Charles Jones, Jr. of FL and Keenon Jones and Darrell Jones both of Long Island, NY; two brothers, Ted (Bonnie) Jones, Jr. of New York, NY and Ed Jones of Cleveland, OH; seven sisters, Alma Lynch of Spartanburg, SC, Betty Tracy and Mary Seawright both of Cleveland, OH, and Julia Banks, Janice Jones, Debra Jones and Elizabeth Holts all of Long Island, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
