Charles Jeter, III

Charles Jeter, III, 61, of Union, SC passed away on August 4, 2023 in Spartanburg Medical Center.  A native of Union County, SC, he was the husband of Lizzie Gregory Jeter and the son of Dorothy J. Jeter and the late Charles Jeter, Jr.  He was a graduate of Union High School and was self-employed as a brick mason.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jeanette “Sook” Jeter; five brothers, DeWayne Jeter, Travis Jeter, Jimmy Earl Jeter, Tyvin Jeter, and Jerry Dawkins; and one sister, Dollie Jeter Stevens.  He leaves precious memories to his wife, Lizzie Jeter; two daughters, Catrina Jeter and Kenyatta Jeter; one son, Jerrell Gregory; four grandchildren; five sisters, Charlean Lott, Jill Jeter, Wanda Jeter, Loretta Jeter, and Judy Dawkins; two brothers, Eugene (Alicia) Jeter, and Adrian Jeter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous dear friends.  The family will receive friends at the home.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Rd. Union, SC.
