Charles N. Crosby, age 67, of Union, South Carolina, entered eternal rest on Tuesday morning, September 16, 2025.
A native of Union, he was the son of the late James Crosby, Sr. and Elwillie Jackson Crosby. He was educated in the public schools of Union County and was self-employed as a handyman. Charles enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of Sunday night football.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Reverend Samuel Crosby, James Crosby, Jr., Robert Lewis Crosby, and Fred Crosby; two sisters: Sarah B. Coleman and Mary Alice Crosby; two nieces: Dianne Crosby and Penny Coleman; and one nephew: Reverend Bobby Lee Crosby.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted companion of more than forty years, Althea Coleman; one nephew, Mackroy (Arin) Crosby; six nieces: Joann Wallace-Coleman, Sandra Coleman, Janie Mae Lipscomb, Lisa Jones-Coleman, Jovonne Byrd, and Jennifer Crosby; along with a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
Charles will be remembered for his warm spirit, hardworking hands, and love for family and friends.
