Calvin Young

Calvin Young, Jr., 77, of Union, SC passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 in Heartland Health Care Center.  A native of Union, SC he was the son of the late Cal Young and Sarah Barnett Young.

He was retired from Union Mills. Calvin was a member of Corinth Baptist Church where he served on the Adult choir, Senior choir, Male choir and Usher Board.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John Barnett and Marion Young.

He is survived by three sons, Bryant Young, Calvin “Chip” (Angela) Young, and Antwione “Tony” (Fran) Young; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews including Lisa Young and Marion Young, Jr., cousins and dear friends. The family is at the home of his son, Calvin "Chip" Young, 304 Wilson Road, Union, SC. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
