Bobby Andrew Peake (“Lil Bobby”), beloved husband of Barbara Thomas Peake, was born on August 13, 1963, in Union, South Carolina, to Bobby James Peake and Ruby Corrie Miller Peake. He tragically departed this earthly life on July 7, 2025.
Bobby spent his life serving his family and community. He was a devoted and valued employee of Sonoco Plastics for many years.
He was baptized at Wyatt’s Chapel Baptist Church at an early age and was a graduate of Jonesville High School, class of 1981. In addition, he attended USC-Union.
He loved to fish and was an avid Washington Redskins (now Commanders) and Atlanta Braves fan. He was also a baseball umpire, a Mason, and served on the board of the Bonham Fire Department. He was a member Enterprise Masonic Lodge #166.
Bobby was preceded in death by one brother, George Anthony Peake.
Bobby leaves to cherish fond memories his beloved wife, Barbara Peake; one son, Yatonion Shermon “Drew” Sartor; five grandchildren; five brothers, Rodney James Peake, Gregory (Elaine) Peake, David Fitzgerald (Frances) Peake, Charles Eric (Yvonne) Peake, Kenneth “Kenny” (Rhonda) Peake; two sisters, Sherry Diane (Elise) Goode and Sharon Denise Peake; two half-sisters, Sally Campbell and Sandra Campbell; sisters-in-law, Julia Walton, Bonnie Thomas, Michelle Thomas; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, coworkers, and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Family will receive friends at 113 Cindy Lane Union, SC. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
