Bobbie Jean (Sartor) Lyles

Bobbie Jean Sartor Lyles, 78, of Union, SC passed away on April 17, 2020 at Heartland Nursing Home of Union, SC.  She was a native of Carlisle, SC.  She was the wife of the late L. B. Lyles and the daughter of the late John Sartor and Sadie Mae Sartor.  She was a faithful member of Saint Luke AME Zion Church in Carlisle, SC.  She attended the public schools of Union County and was retired from Union Mills.  She was predeceased in death by one daughter, Betty Jean Mobley; two brothers, John Sartor, Jr. and Edward Hill; four sisters, Thelma Sims, Louise Best, Ada Dawkins, and Willie B. Bennett; one granddaughter, Akilah Mobley; and one grandson, Andre Howze.  She leaves to cherish fond memories to her three sons, James Lee Lyles Jr. of Union, SC and John Arthur Lyles and Dale "NuNu" Sims both of Dayton, OH; three daughters, Sadie Mae Jeter of Union, SC, Juanita Lyles of Carlisle, SC, and Margaret Sims of Dayton, OH; eighteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; fivc great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.  The family is at the residence.  Community Mortuary 361 Meansville Road Union, SC is in charge of the arrangements.
