Bernestine "Bunt" Smith Gregory, 77, of 656 Eisontown Road, Jonesville, SC passed away Friday, January 21, 2021 at her residence. A native of Union County, She was the widow of Theodore Gregory, Sr. and daughter of the late Lewis Smith and Elizabeth Eison Smith. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she served in the Outreach Ministry. She was educated in the Public Schools of Union County. She was a former textile worker. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. Those who remain to cherish her memory include, one daughter, Lenese (Leon) Robinson of Jonesville, SC; one son, Theodore (Torino) Gregory, Jr. of Jonesville, SC; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene Smith of PA and McArthur (Betty) Glenn of Columbia, SC; three sisters, Georgia Mae Peake of Union, SC, Minnie Pearl Rice of Moore, SC, and Jerleen Eison of Jonesville, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
