Baularth "Roosevelt" Geatter

Baularth "Roosevelt" Geatter, 79, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Monday night, October 17, 2022 in Spartanburg Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg County, he was the husband of Allene Hughes Geatter and the son of the late Glover Geter and Mary Simpson Geter. 

He attended Foster Grove High School and later spent three years serving in the United States Army. Mr. Geatter retired from Kapasi Glass Mart after many dedicated years of service.

He was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Wayne Geatter; five brothers, Bobby Geter, Johnny Mack Geter, Rachel Geter, Ricky Geter, and Billy C. Geter; and two sisters, Betty Byers and Lillie Posey. 

Those remaining, in addition to his wife, to cherish his memory include, two daughters, Rosetta Michelle Bledsoe and Ann (Kenny) McAbee; five grandchildren, Marvin Holman, Caziah Geatter, Brittany Geatter, Asia Geatter-Jones, and Iesha Ferguson; four great-grandchildren, Kamari Merck, Kori Gamble, Daniel Gamble, and Kamyah Stevenson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
