Smith, 85, of Union, SC passed away Sunday afternoon, July 5, 2020 in Heartland Healthcare Union.  A native of Union County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Orange Smith and Ethel Smith. She attended Union County schools and was a homemaker. Ms. Smith was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley "Fuzzy" Smith Thomas; five brothers, Luster Smith, James William Smith, Paul Smith, Jeremiah Smith, and Ellis Smith; four sisters, Pauline Kershaw, Fannie Lou Kershaw, Varnell Smith, and Clara Richardson. She leaves to cherish precious memories one son, Willie Earl Smith; two daughters, Gloria Young and Sharon Dean Nash; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
