Annie Pearl Walton “Tassie” Farr of Union, SC passed away Sunday morning, June 30, 2024, at her residence. A native of Union County, SC, she was the widow of Wallace Anderson Farr and the daughter of the late Bessie Walton Harris and Warren Worthy.
She attended the public schools of Union County and was a member of Monarch Baptist Church. She was a seamstress and homemaker.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruth Ann Farr Tucker, one brother, J. T. Walton, one sister, Ada Walton, and one nephew reared in the home, James Walton.
She is survived by one son, Gary Farr (Lisa Young); two daughters, Willie Ethel “Wilma” (Frank) Goode and Dorothy Tina (Larry) Stevens; an adopted son, Jimmy Boler; grandchildren reared in the home, Troy Farr, Steven (Modestine) Farr, Christopher (Pamela) Farr, Derwin (Monterria) Farr, Leslie Betsill, Paul Hooker, Jr.; three additional grandchildren, Sasha Farr, Kenya Taylor, and Ciera Byrd; thirteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
