Annette Denise (Gist) "Nett" Gossett

     Annette Denise Gist “Nett” Gossett, 61, of Union, SC passed on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at her residence.  A native of Union County, SC, she was the wife of Lee Anthony Gossett and the daughter of the late Julia Louise Gist Jennings and Donald Garner and the stepdaughter of the late Alvin “Pink” Jennings, Sr. She was a 1980 graduate of Union High School and received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.  She worked in the textile industry for many years.

      Those who remain to cherish her memory include her husband, Lee A. Gossett; one son, Allen Glenn; one daughter; Pamela Gist (Eric Gray), two step-daughters, Leshannon McBeth (Chad Gilliam) and Serena (Robbie) Gilliard; seven grandchildren; one brother, Alvin (Malaika) Jennings, Jr.; one sister, Shelia (James “JC”) Jeter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends all of whom will miss her dearly. 

      The family will receive friends at 103 Walnut Street, Union, SC and at 1321 Pineland Road, Union, SC. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
