Angela Kershaw, 52, of Pacolet, SC, passed away on February 20, 2025 at her residence. A native of Union, SC, she was the daughter of Roosevelt Hardy and both the late Joella Kershaw "Booche" Hardy and Tommy Neal Wilkes. She was a 1991 graduate of Broome High School. She worked for many years at RR Donnelley until the company closed and was a current employee of AFL Telecommunications. She was a member of Montgomery Chapel Baptist Church, Pacolet, SC.
Angela had a radiant smile and a very vibrant personality. She was known for her giving spirit and her love of cooking. She enjoyed seeing the look of delight on the faces of those who indulged in her culinary gifts.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Antuwan Marquise Shippy.
She leaves fond and precious memories to one son, Tyler Rashad Shippy and his father, Warren Shippy; her father, Roosevelt Hardy; two brothers, Cornelius Hardy and Adrian (Robin) Jeter; three sisters, April (Samuel) Green, Tawonna Brannon, Lachandro Kershaw; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins, other relatives and friends, all of whom will sorely miss her.
The family will receive friends at 841 Jerusalem Rd., Pacolet, SC. Arrangements are entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
