Alene Robinson Washington, 81, of Boling Springs, SC passed away Sunday morning, August 21, 2022, in Spartanburg Medical Center.  A native of Spartanburg, SC, she was  the  daughter of the late James A. Robinson and Mary Austin Robinson.  She was a member of Messiah Baptist Church and attended Lincoln High School.  She was retired from Michelin Tire Company after thirty years of dedicated service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Louise Martin and two sisters, Ida Mae Robinson and Barbara Jean Robinson Ellison.  She is survived by one son, Stanley Earl Robinson; eight grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one uncle, Reverend Joseph (Brenda) Robinson of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022, at New Faith International Church with burial in Cedarwood Cemetery at East Spartanburg. The family will receive friends at 2039 Evergreen Drive, Boiling Springs, SC.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
