Addie Mae (Berry) Burnside

 Addie "Mae" Burnside, also called "Ma Mae" by many, was the daughter of the late Glover and Katherine Bomar. She was born on March 7, 1939, in Spartanburg, South Carolina and departed to her Heavenly Home on November 26, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of Monks Grove Baptist Church.
She was proceeded in death by her first husband, Chester Edward Berry, her parents, Glover and Katherine Bomar, a grandson, Cornelius Berry, and youngest sister, Inez Maxton.
She leaves precious memories to her husband, George Washington Burnside, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; son, Juan Wendell Berry (Rhonda), of Spartanburg, South Carolina;  four granddaughters, Chloe and Ivanna Berry (reared in the home) of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Destiny Richards, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, Brittany Means, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; four grandsons, Zion Berry (reared in the home) of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Delonte Richards, of Boiling Springs, Nicholas Lee, of Greenville, South Carolina; and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Ann Stripling of Whitney, South Carolina, and Dollie Ruth Moore (Anthony), of Spartanburg, South Carolina; three brothers, John Robert Bomar, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Johnny Calvin "JC" Bomar (late Geldria), of Inman, South Carolina, and Leroy Bomar (Brenda) of Whitney, South Carolina: a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends. The family is at 594 Springfield Road, Spartanburg, SC. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, Inc. 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
