Shirley (Foster) Fowler

Shirley Foster Fowler, 78, of 1000 Lucerne Drive, Spartanburg, SC passed away Saturday morning, November 30, 2019 in Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.  A native of Spartanburg County, SC, she was the widow of Reverend Norwood Fowler, Sr. and daughter of the late Preston Carson and Willie Mae Foster Duckett.  She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a former employee of Butte Knit.  She is survived by two sons, Thomas (Debbie) Fowler and Norwood (Beatrice) Fowler, Jr. both of Spartanburg, SC; three daughters, Vickie Campbell (Sammy), Patricia Fowler-Bowman, and Sandra (Westley) Jeter all of Spartanburg, SC; one stepson, Reverend Dewayne (Katrina) Meadows of Asheboro, NC; one stepdaughter, Sharon Evans of Spartanburg, SC; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Duckett of the home; one brother-in-law, Glennwood Fowler of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of other relatives.  The family will receive friends at the home.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
