Notie Pernola Floyd Thomas

Notie Pernola Floyd Thomas, 69, of 1360 Sulphur Springs Road, Jonesville, SC entered into eternal rest Wednesday evening, June 5, 2019.  A native of Union, SC, she was born March 23, 1950 to the late Elwillie Floyd and the late James Ross.  She was a life-long member of the Thompson Chapel Baptist Church of Jonesville, SC.  Left to cherish fond and loving memories are her two daughters, Cathy Brannon Keller and her husband Terry and Elaine Thomas Henderson both of Jonesville, SC; her siblings, Clara Pearl Moorman of Union, SC, Addie Thomas and her husband Wlbert of Jonesville, SC, Minister Lillie Bell Wilkins of Jonesville, SC, Pastor Joe Cephus Floyd and his wife Jackie of Jonesville, SC, Bessie Long of Union, SC, Pastor Willie Floyd and his wife Darlene of Bishopville, SC, Steve Floyd of Jonesville, SC, Audrey Lynn Jeter of Jonesville, SC; one uncle, Minister John H. Thomas, Jr.; three aunts, Reverend Dorothy Garrett, Mamie Pilgrim, and Mary Etta Linder; a special companion, Darrell Smith; lifelong friend, Christine Swinton; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Thomas and two brothers, Edward Floyd and Michael Thompson.  Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Thompson Chapel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
