Jeanette "Sook" Jeter

Jeanette "Sook" Jeter, 98, of 107 Horseshoe Circle, Union, SC passed away Sunday morning, December 8, 2019 at her residence.  A native of Union County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Jeter and Lillie Bell Ross Jeter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Billy T. Jeter and Samuel Earl Jeter and one sister, Josephine Jeter.  She was a member of Wyatt's Chapel Baptist Church and a former textile worker.  She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Lewis Jeter of Philadelphia, PA, and Eugene Jeter of Carlisle, SC; one daughter, Dorothy J. Jeter of Union, SC; twenty-seven grandchildren; sixty-nine great-grandchildren; seventy great-great-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one nephew, George Jeter of Philadelphia, PA.   and other relatives.  The family will receive friends at the home.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
